February is national heart month and there are lots of event that you can either organize or take part in to celebrate heart health. One of these event is Go Red for Women 2012.

- What is it? Go Red for Women is a special initiative by the American Heart Association that’s meant to educate and empower women about heart health.
- When is it? Most Go Red for Women 2012 events will be taking place during national heart month, which is February. For example February 3rd is national wear red day, although wear red events can take place on other days throughout the month as well.
